Dominating radio, he mastered the art of radio imaging and today, Mitch Faulkner’s voice is heard on more than seventy radio stations in America and across air waves internationally in London, England, Nigeria, Africa, Canada, Brazil, The Bahamas, Jamaica and Denmark. Mitch has served as voice talent for local and national television stations, radio networks and Ad campaigns. His list of clients include iHeart Radio, Cumulus, Radio One, COX/CMG, Alpha Media, Midway Broadcasting, Townsquare Media, and a host of others.

Mitch began his career in radio at the age of 16, as a volunteer disc jockey in his hometown, Hopkinsville, KY at WHOP AM Country. From there he went on to work with WABD in Ft Campbell KY/TN, an album Rock station, playing music from artist such as Deep Purple, Grateful Dead, Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin and others from that era, now considered Classic Rock. It was there that Mitch honed his skills in using his voice to woo the audience into staying tuned in.

He soon found himself in Atlanta Georgia where he worked with WCLK FM, WIGO AM WVEE FM and WEKS FM.  In Atlanta he became known as “the Voice” because of his skills at producing Radio station Promos and Drops (Imaging) in addition to TV Imaging on several Atlanta TV Stations to include WXIA 11 Alive, WGNX Channel 46 and TBS.

He has done stints in Houston TX as Production Director for KMJQ Majic 102 FM, Program Director for WEKS FM Kiss 104 Atlanta, Program Director for WCDX Richmond VA, and Program Director/Operations Manager KZWA FM Lake Charles LA just to name a few. He also worked as Creative Service Director, Reach Media’s “The Tom Joyner Morning Show” in Dallas TX.

But at each turn HIS VOICE is what keeps propelling him to new heights of greater opportunity. Ever since Faulkner chose the broadcast industry as a career at the age of 16, his voice has not missed one single day of being on a radio station somewhere in the United States.

His greatest accomplishment in the industry came when he and his brother Arvester Faulkner launched the first Black Owned and Operated Radio Production facility in the world, ON MIC PRODUCTIONS (OMP) in Atlanta, Georgia. It was the largest privately owned facility of its kind in America with over 4400 square ft. of space housing (4) Digital Studios and managing over 11 full time employees servicing stations and clients across the globe. At OMP, Mitch and his staff were the first in the nation to utilize digital delivery of audio to radio stations before the internet was common. During the 12 years (1985-1997) of operation “OMP” dominated the imaging business for URBAN formatted radio stations across the country peaking at over 180 stations to include the nation’s top rated radio markets.

Mitch has been recipient of number music awards, community and charitable event recognitions, to name a few:
