Two people have been reported dead this morning in a shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia.
One suspect is in custody after authorities received a report of an active shooter in the school. A local hospital by the school is receiving patients with gunshot wounds as police are still investigating the situation.
Police still do not have any information on why the shooting happened in the first place. About 5 ambulance trucks and a very large amount of active law enforcement showed up to the scene. New helicopters can see that students evacuated from the school onto the football field and are praying.
The school is providing transportation for students to get home safely if they do not have their own means to get home.
Story is still developing.
