Queen of Hot Topics Wendy Williams becomes the Hot Topic this week, as she reveals she’s in a Sober House and she’s been recovering from addiction-related issues.
The 54-year-old talk show host revealed the news this week that when she’s done with the show, she takes Pilates class, has a sober coach, visits with family and then returns to the sober house, that has a 10pm lockdown/lights out.
Wendy spills her truth just weeks after she returned to her talk show, after taking an extended break in early 2019 to manage complications from Graves’ disease and a shoulder fracture. Wendy Williams is taking the steps to seek treatment for herself.
The talk show host announced she has launched a substance abuse hotline the 888-5HUNTER that her and her two Kevins, husband and son. This hotline is fully staffed 24 hours a day by specially trained certified recovery coaches, who will conduct assessments and match callers with lists of treatment facilities including detox, rehabilitation, sober living and outpatient centres throughout the country.
