Journalist Ann Curry is known for reporting on stories about natural disasters and human suffering. For over 30 years, Curry has used her talent for journalism to bring issues and events live through expert storytelling. She’s back with a PBS documentary series called We’ll Meet Again which focuses on reconnecting people after years of being apart.

“This need to connect, this need to be loved is just so fundamental to what we are. And so what we are trying to remind people you know just by showing these stories of average everyday men and women,” explained Curry. “Whether they were caught up in world events like World War II or in Vietnam…when we look at these things, we discover these people who are just caught up and are looking for the one who helped them survive physically and emotionally.”

Catch Curry’s documentary series We’ll Meet Again on February 27 on PBS.
