Alright, let’s talk about the Super Bowl halftime show that had everybody buzzing.

When Bad Bunny took the stage at Super Bowl LX, he didn’t just perform — he made history. He became the first artist to headline the halftime show entirely in Spanish. And the numbers? They speak for themselves.

According to Nielsen, the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show pulled in 128.2 million viewers, topping the game itself. Fans quickly nicknamed it the “Benito Bowl.”

But here’s the behind-the-scenes twist that took the moment from bold to legendary.

Halftime show director Hamish Hamilton revealed that Bad Bunny refused to wear a safety harness while climbing a utility pole during the performance. Hamilton said the superstar told him plainly, “I don’t need it.”

Once that call was made, it actually changed the creative direction in the best way. Producers were able to mount a camera directly on the pole, capturing that dramatic overhead shot that fans couldn’t stop replaying.

Even more impressive? Bad Bunny reportedly learned the stunt in about three minutes, climbed straight up, and delivered his vocals flawlessly. Hamilton later described the production as one of the biggest team efforts he’s ever worked on — but it was clear the artist was completely in control.

Fearless. Focused. Unapologetic.

And just like that, the Benito Bowl became a moment in Super Bowl history.
