The “D” List: Donna’s Alphabet Party on Classix at Nite
Wednesday night on Classix at Nite, Donna had a little fun with the alphabet.
Every song leading up to the 11 p.m. Lounge Set started with the letter “D.” The playlist turned into a ride through classic R&B, soul, funk and neo-soul while listeners called in to help keep the list going.
From The Delfonics and TLC to James Brown and Mary J. Blige, the night showed just how many great songs share the same starting letter.
The show closed with the Lounge Set featuring Regina Belle.
