How many day time shows do you know of that tackle issues like wrongful imprisonment, poverty and mistreatment? Shows that really dig deep into problems that affect the Black community.
Dr. Michael Eric Dyson plans to do just that with his new day time show The Raw Word.
“Well it’s a great talk show. We teamed up with my man Andre Jetmir, wonderful executive producer and I’m joined on the show with my co-host Claudia Jordan and Dr. Dan Radner,” explained Dyson.
The show will cover everything from life style to politics in trying to include all parts of life.
“We are doing a daily talk show and we are talking about everything you can think about. The history, the daily life of people who survive cancer, we’re speaking about different approaches to home making and doing suff in the kitchen,” expressed Dyson. “We’re talking about serious issues that people have to confront on the daily and we’re talking both to celebrities like yourself Tom Joyner and we’re talking to everyday people.”
