We know this can be tough, being on lockdown at home. We get it, and we are in there with you. Here are some tips to stay sane while on quarantine.

 1. Limit your news intake– don’t sit and watch the news all day. Yes, you should be informed, but it can make you depressed and fearful. Turn it off. Only allow yourself maybe 30 minutes of news per day.

2. Make a schedule- Make sure you have a schedule for your day. A time for office work, a time to go over homework with the kids, and a time rest,  relax and exercise. This is very important.

3. Go Outside- It’s okay to walk outside, and actually it is highly recommended. Go out and get some fresh air. Breathe. Walk and get some sun rays!

4. Don’t be so hard on yourself– Okay so you didn’t get though all of the emails, or your daughter didn’t finish her assignment on time. Or you sat on the coach in yoga pants and ate all the Oreos! It’s okay, this is new to ALL of us! So don’t be hard on yourself and remember to not be hard on others.

5. Reach out to friends– Video chatting is a great way to do this. Set a time you and your and girls can all have wine and get on a video chat. Or on Sunday you can pray with the ladies at church. Reach out to your elder family members and check on them. They know how to FaceTime too.

All in all, we are all in this together. So stay strong. We can get through this!
