Melissa Alexander is an Atlanta-based photographer obsessed with growth and vulnerability, both of which form the backbone of her work. In particular, she focuses on the inter-relational intimacy that exists within the Black American community.
Having the belief that decor separates an event from a gathering, I have spent many years creating custom props that are as hype as the DJ or alcohol.
Keeping with the flow of 3 dimensional designs, my most recent creations capture human interaction with self or others through sculpted wall art.

Ashley Bella has always been drawn to the arts. Growing up, she was an athlete but decided that she was better at creating art. She oscillated between music and theater before identifying visual art as her preferred outlet. Ashley knew she wanted to become an entrepreneur and major in art; however, family pressure swayed her to change her college major. Before completing her undergraduate degree at Georgia State University and majoring in art, Ashley started getting involved in the community. She became an advocate for mental health and started fighting against sex trafficking. Today, Ashley continues to paint murals as a commercial art and design studio and host paint parties through ArtzyBella’s brick and mortar studio in Southwest Atlanta

Arzell Thompson Jr.
From my first painting that I sold to my elementary school Assistant Principal, a junior high painting that was displayed at the White House, to Germany, where, while enlisted, I became the first Black graphics illustrator in the Air Force, it was there. The paint and watermarks on this vessel are remnants of certified originals at Princeton university, with former President Jimmy Carter, generations of art collectors, and more than 70 years of passion. My mom was, is, and forever will be my inspiration, sacrificing this coffee pot that has held my brushes since childhood. She gave me a key to what is my lifeblood. I don’t just make art. I dream about it, I breathe it, I can’t live without it! And now, I share it with you. May you enjoy my creations, discover your inspirations and carry your “coffee pot” wherever you go.

My name is Daneyah Lawshea; I’m 19 years old and a self-taught traditional/digital artist. I live in Snellville, Georgia, but I was born in Miami, Florida. I’ve been drawing and painting since I was a very young child. I create art because it’s, in a way, a form of self-expression for me. I’m able to show my creativity and show artistry from my imagination. Some themes I like to use and explore for my art are anime, gaming, and fantasy aesthetics. Also, I love to infuse my characters and the many stories that come with them. My inspiration comes from my family. They always regard me to the highest degree and instill me with confidence. So thanks to their care and kindness, my passion grows each day. Some hopes for the future are to grow and learn many other techniques/mediums. I alos wish to show and share with others like myself.
