According to MARTA police, a MARTA bus ran over a man chasing after the bus last week at the bus stop near Briarwood Road in Brookhaven. Officers believe the man ran to the bus as it was speeding away and somehow fell and got caught underneath the powerful vehicle. There were at least 10 bystanders riding the bus during the accident.
Police also think alcohol could have been involved, but the investigation is still well underway.
