No Flights, No Problem: Jeezy’s Wild Ride to Baltimore
Talk about dedication!
Rapper Jeezy, born Jay Jenkins, almost missed his August 1 concert in Baltimore, Maryland, due to severe weather cancelling all flights out of Atlanta and surrounding areas, including Washington, D.C. But instead of letting fans down, the Snowman found another way—and made a new friend along the way.
After his first ride broke down and a private jet plan fell through, he called an Uber just to get to the airport—but ended up making a wild request. Jeezy asked the driver if he’d take him all the way to Baltimore—a 10-hour trip. The driver agreed, and the rapper made it to the venue just 10 minutes before showtime.
“There was no way I was missing out on Baltimore,” Jeezy shared on social media.
And yes—Tanner got to stay and enjoy the show. Now that’s what you call riding for the fans.
