Janet Jackson announced earlier this week, that she’ll be hitting the road in 2020 for a new world tour in support of her forthcoming twelfth studio album, Black Diamond.The 52-year-old music icon recently announced her Black Diamond World Tour along with the new album, her first in five years since “Unbreakable”.
Janet Jackson hit-up “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on February 10th, where she and Jimmy, along with The Roots accompany’s her on classroom instruments, performing a playful version of her hit single “Runaway.”
“It’s the toughest of the stones, of the diamonds, to cut. I heard that immediately. It’s hard to hurt, to destroy. And in my last few years, I’ve come to realize that I’m incredibly strong,” Jackson explained to Fallon about the title of her highly anticipated album(see clips below).
The superstar’s new show is set to include a mix of music from Black Diamond and the rest of her iconic discography — including a special performance from her landmark 1989 album Rhythm Nation 1814, which just celebrated its 30th anniversary.
