Little Caesars Arena was the site of the final weigh-in for “The Gwoat” Claressa Shields and Franchón Crews-Dezurn that almost turned into a bare-knuckle brawl before the big February 22nd fight. The fighters had to be separated after Shields pushed Dezurn on Saturday night in Detroit
Both fighters successfully made weight without issue. Shields came in at 174 pounds, while Crews-Dezurn weighed 174.2 pounds. The drama began moments later when they stood nose-to-nose.
