What is the Senior Ball?
The Senior Ball is an annual celebration of the senior citizens that have helped make Atlanta the globally renowned city that it is today. Attendees are Atlanta residents that are 65 years of age or older. They enjoy a wonderful night of dinner, dancing, live entertainment, door prizes and more. The atmosphere is festive, and the ball is often held at one of Atlanta’s finest hotels. At its height, this highly anticipated event has drawn more than 5,000 seniors. There is no charge for seniors to attend.

Vaccination against Covid-19 is NOT required to attend this event. Future executive or legislative action may require this to change.
Details
The 2025 Senior Ball will take place on Saturday, October 11th. It will be held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It is located at 265 Peachtree Center Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA, 30303. Attire for the evening is formal. The suggested colors are hunter green, black and gold. An Age of Elegance is the theme.
Registration
The registration deadline for this event is July 31, 2025. Seniors that register to attend after this date will be placed on the waiting list.
Each attendee must reside in the City of Atlanta and be at least 65 years of age. Individuals may register to attend with a group or as an individual. Each eligible attendee must register separately. There are no guest/spouse registrations. Each registrant will receive one non-transferable wristband. If cancellations are received, individuals on the waiting list will be offered an opportunity to attend in the order that they are received. Individuals on the waiting list that are offered a ticket to the ball will be contacted. All offers will be extended by Tuesday, September 30th.
The Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone that is not able to demonstrate City of Atlanta residency.

Transportation/Parking
You may park your car at one of the following locations and take a group shuttle to the Marriott Marquis. Wristbands for Park & Ride transportation will be distributed and must be worn to board the shuttles. Boarding will begin at 2:45 p.m.

The rate for Valet Parking at the Mariott Marquis will be $27 for the ball and $36 for guests that stay overnight. Parking is available on a first come first served basis.
Transportation Liability Waiver
An individual that plans to provide her or his own transportation may decide to use City of Atlanta transportation the day of the event. For this reason, everyone that attends the ball is asked to acknowledge the waiver.
Caregivers
To maximize the number of seniors that can attend the ball, the number of Caregivers that are able to sit inside the ballroom is limited. Caregivers that are eligible to attend the ball (65 years of age and residents of the City of Atlanta) should register as attendees and attend the ball. They will be seated with their respective groups. Caregivers that are NOT eligible to attend must be registered with a senior to assist and be seated in the ballroom. Cancellations
If a registrant discovers that he or she is unable to attend, the Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services should be notified. The registration will be canceled, and another registrant on the waiting list will be allowed to attend. Click here to cancel registration or call 404-546-1842.
Advance Wristband Pick-Up
Individuals
Each registrant must show their ID at pick up. If the address on one’s ID DOES NOT match the address used for registration, the registrant will be required to show proof of residency. We will accept a utility bill in the registrant’s name. Please print a copy or present a clear, legible photo on a mobile phone. Registrants may designate another person to pick up a ticket by completing a wristband pick-up form. ID or utility bill is required for tickets that are picked up by someone other than the registrant as well. Please print a copy or present a legible photo on a mobile phone. It must be submitted to the Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services on paper or via text. Tickets that are not picked up in advance will be available at Will Call the night of the event. Groups
All wristbands will be delivered to and distributed by the Group Coordinator. If you have a group of 5 or more, you may request that your group be added to the registration system by calling (404) 546-1842 or sending your request to SeniorBall@AtlantaGa.gov . Each group must have a coordinator with a valid phone number and email address.
