The first weekend in 2024 has giving us a lot to watch on the TV!

Here are are few things to catch.

On Netflix

If you haven’t seen it, Dave Chapplle has a new comedy special… hour long and its good.

Also this week, it’s Netflix’s “The Brothers Sun,” a new series with Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh.

Don’t miss out on “OWN Spotlight: Oprah & Taraji P. Henson,” all set to premiere Saturday, Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT when Oprah and the Oscar-nominated, Emmy award-winning actress Taraji P. Henson both sit down to discuss her role as the sultry Shug Avery in “The Color Purple.”

The awards season kicks off in earnest with the Golden Globes, now back on TV and reinvented. Gone is the shadowy, easily influenced cabal of voters known as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. In are new voters and new management who are supposed to make the Globes more legitimate. Hopefully still in are celebrities getting tipsy on live TV while they wait for their names to be announced. Jo Koy hosts,  Airing and streaming Sunday at 8 p.m. ET

If you haven’t seen Club Shay Shay on YouTube with Katt Williams, well you are missing what everyone is talking about…

The extended interview will stream on ABC News Live’s “Prime with Linsey Davis” on Monday at 7 p.m. EST. ABC News Studios’ “IMPACT x Nightline” will stream a half-hour special with more from the interview, including never-before-heard portions and additional reporting on the story, beginning Thursday, only on Hulu.
