Skinny fat or normal-weight-obese people look incredibly healthy and lean, except for a few visible bulges or dimpling in thighs, buttocks. abdominal and arms.   What you don’t see is the developing health issues like Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease and dementia. The location and storage of the fat around the liver, heart, panaceas and kidneys is what causes health dangers for skinny fat people.  Due to a higher body fat percentage and muscle mass that is significantly lower, skinny fat people are prone to the same diseases as those who are overweight. Skinny fat, normal-weight-obesity or deep fat is real and can be deadly!!! According your BMI (body mass index) you may be within normal range and considered healthy. People become skinny fat through extreme dieting, yo-yo dieting, severely restricting calories, starvation diet, skipping meal, excessive cardio, little to no resistance training and sedentary lifestyle. You don’t have live as a skinny fat person! The way to overcome being skinny fat or normal-weight-obesity is to change your body composition by flipping your body fat percentage and lean muscle mass. . Increasing your muscle mass and decreasing your body fat percentage will take some time even with a well balanced diet coupled with an exercise program that incorporates 3-4 days of cardio, 30 minutes per session along with 30-45 minutes of resistance training 4-5 days per week. Avoid eating processed foods (packaged foods) refined sugars, using saturated oils (animal fat), table salt, and sports drinks. Try HITT or a cardio class like a boot camp that uses weights and use the  cardio equipment preset programs like variety, interval, random, fat burner etc.

Don’t look for your body composition will not change in a couple of days or weeks, it is going to take a while possibly months or a year. It did not take a day to gain the fat, it will take more than a day to lose it!
