The Food and Drug Administration has announced that a limited number of Lay’s potato chips are now being recalled. The cause of this is an undetected possible allergy ingrediant.

A customer complaint prompted the recall of 13-ounce bags of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips, which may contain milk, a common allergen. These incorrectly labeled bags were disseminated and offered for sale online as well as at retail establishments in Oregon and Washington. The recalled chips have the manufacture code “6462307xx” or “6463307xx,” a guaranteed-fresh date of February 11, 2025, and a UPC of “28400 31041.”

If your chips match the recalled information, Frito-Lay is urging you to discard them as soon as possible. You can also contact Frito-Lay Consumer Relations at 1-800-352-4477 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST,
