2020 was not a good year for Lenox Mall, crime wise. This year, Lenox Square has had at least six shootings on its grounds. Not a good look. So they have added weapons detectors, but just at the main entrance.
Weapons detectors are on a trail run according to the General Manager of the mall Robin Suggs.
Suggs told sources, ” We are testing various technologies, analyzing logistics and efficiencies to determine which technology best meets our needs.”
We shall watch and see. Hopefully this will work.
